of making society function. They were the ones who had drawn these
scenarios to
the glory of flows, and, counting on the benefits that an abundance of
circulations, circuits and channels would bring, they programmed the
autonomous
and infinite deployment of machines and networks.
I have been struck by three brutal
deaths in recent years:
that of Nodar Kumaritashvili, that of Elaine Herzberg, that of Jérôme
Laronze.
Each of these dramas reminds us of the limits of network engineering
kind of
fictions and their promises."
